Description

České Budějovice + Český Krumlov

During our trip to the city of Český Krumlov we will visit the city of České Budějovice, administrative, industrial and cultural center of South Bohemia. Its old part is a historical preserve and the seat of Budvar breweries (1894). The square of the city with the Black Tower, 72 meters high, is one of the largest in the country, with gothic, baroque and renaissance houses. The tour continues to Český Krumlov, a UNESCO listed town, one of the most outstanding historical town preserves in Czech Republic, a city from the second half of the 13th century with gothic, renaissance and baroque monuments, that forms a unique complex. The tour includes a visit to the castle of Český Krumlov, the second most important in Bohemia after Prague Castle, with rich collections of gobelin tapestries, paintings, furnitures and the famous Mask Hall.

From 01.11 - 31.03 the castle in Český Krumlov is closed, so it is not possible to visit the interiors of the castle.
